7 Mantra
for Health and Nutrition
individual or even public health. There is no system where identification, treatment, follow up cannot be truly initiated by the health department from periphery to primary care then secondary and tertiary care and the women and child department for investigation and identification of such cases of malnutrition, diseases and complications. Lack of coordination between Health and Women& child department, data exchange and treatment and tracking follow up of malnourished children. This is also applicable in the education department. In our hospitals there is no specific system or indicator for monitoring of medicines and equipment, internal services, communicable and non-communicable disease. There is basic need to integrate the system of personal and public health so that the true picture of nutrition and health of our states and country can be seen and the policy commission as well as the world class SDG3 can be monitored with life cycle approach. If there is a shortage or gaps, the government will make a definite effort to make certain reforms so that a healthy India can be built under your direction.
